The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has left all of us with many more questions than answers. How long will this pandemic last? How many victims will it claim? What will happen to the economy? How should we respond? The only truthful response to any and all of the above, is that we just don’t know.
While we at Brownstone Tutors have no panacea for the prevailing uncertainty, we are fortunate to be in a position to operate pretty much as usual during these most abnormal times. Our office was essentially cloud-based, even before the current outbreak, and virtual tutoring has been part of our repertoire for over a decade now. Though our team of expert tutors is unlikely to come up with a cure for this novel coronavirus (I actually wouldn’t put it past them), we should be able to mitigate some of its unfortunate side effects. To find out more about some of the different ways that we can help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We should note, too, that for the duration of the coronavirus-related shutdown, we will be discounting 10% on all tutoring. For more intensive supplemental sessions due to the absence of regular schooling, we will be happy to discuss further arrangements.
Finally, if anyone has suggestions or, better yet, connections to an organization that may benefit from Brownstone’s experts and expertise during this disruption, we would love to hear from you. We will consider any institution in need, but we probably match best with small to mid-sized academic institutions in Brooklyn and Manhattan (likely unaffiliated with DOE, though not necessarily).
